Catered Crop–Animal House Recipe Swap

Linda has a new, fun recipe swap at the Catered Crop.  This time around the theme is “Animal House”,  Just add wild life, pets, or any animal (dogs, cats, bears . . . ) anywhere in your paper project.

I made a birthday card for my daughter. (Can I say I can’t believe she is 12!!  Where has the time gone?)  I thought these cute bears from Lili of the Valley were perfect both for her birthday and for the “Animal House” challenge.

Guess the Christmas Carol and Win!

It's Christmas Carol week  at Great Impressions Stamps!

Read all about the details here.

Did I mention that prizes will be involved?!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

This week the Great Impressions Stamps DT is kicking off the holiday season.  We are inviting you to join in the fun by guessing the Christmas carol that inspired each of our projects this week for your chance to win some fun prizes.  You can read all the details here.

I think you will be able to figure out the Christmas carol that inspired my card and an extra project.  I included a clue to help you.

For both of my projects I used Saint Nicholas (E659) from Great Impressions Stamps.  I just love this image.   He looks  great colored but you can also leave him uncolored for another great look.

Here’s a closer look at St. Nick.  I just want to pinch his cheek.

Using the same image, I also created a Christmas themed wine bottle tag.  I like having a few of these tags around during to holidays to put on hostess gifts.  (They work great on all types of bottles, even fun, holiday scented hand soap.)

Here is a final peek at both my projects.
